11:00 - Arrival at the canyon. Begin a guided hike through the Valley of Castles, named for its bizarre rock formations that resemble towers and fortresses. The walking route is about 3 kilometers (round-trip) and takes 2.5 to 3 hours, with time for photography, rest, and exploring hidden corners.
